Overview

The Mathpath collaborates deeply with organizational leaders and specialists to design thought-provoking learning experiences that include peer discussion and applied exercises. In customized and off-the-shelf training and leadership development sessions, participants dive deep into the practice of equitable design and how it can empower everyone to build inclusive, equitable, and representative workplaces. Each learning experience includes curated pre-work and guided followup exercises to ensure participants are prepared to expand their understanding and continue their learning journeys long after their experience.

Topics include inclusive recruiting and hiring, anti-racist management, equitable decision making, data-informed DEI strategy, equitable performance management, and more.

Training Components

Trainings can be designed for teams of all sizes, and across global time zones.

 

Curated Pre-Work

Program participants are provided with curated pre-work to prepare them for deep learning and authentic, safe discussion.

Safety & Group Norms

Participants are guided to set the “rules of engagement” for the session, ensuring that the group is able to learn about often-challenging subjects in a safe, conducive environment.

Inspirational Trainings

Using her experience as a university lecturer, executive coach, and equity strategist, The Mathpath provides learning experiences that support and challenge participants to grow into their best selves.

Guided Integration Exercises

Attendees are provided with structured followup exercises using The Mathpath’s “Learn, Reflect, Act” framework that allows them to integrate their learnings into their day-to-day work and collaborations.

Aubrey is the founder of The Mathpath = (Math Nerd + Empath), a technology executive, advisor, and investor. Through all her work, she seeks to question, reimagine, and redesign the systems and practices that surround us to ensure that all people can access equitable opportunities and build a better world. Her work is undergirded by her training in social scientific methods and grounded in the fundamental dignity and value of every person. An alumna of Palantir Technologies and Atlassian, she's coached nearly a hundred executives to improve their understanding of their role in creating systemic equity and consistent sustainable change.

She is an advisor to a variety of groups seeking to build a more just world, including Joonko, Seed & Spark, and On Ramp. Her work has been featured in Wired, the Wall Street Journal, the Australian Financial Review, The Los Angeles Times, USA Today, Re/Code, First Round Review, and more. She also has previous academic affiliations with Stanford and Northwestern, and an appointment at the Equity by Design Lab at the Stanford Graduate School of Business.
